The Greenery carries a huge selection of tomatoes... it's one of our obsessions actually! Choose from 40 different varieties: some beefsteak, some cherry, and even some collector types!
For early spring we have a selection of some of the basic varieties of cherry, beefsteak and cooking tomatoes. When planting in March/April just remember that this is a cold sensitive crop.
Our hanging tomato baskets have also sized up and are ready for purchase now. In addition to the Tumbler and Red Robin cherry tomato baskets, we have planted some mixes and a few newer basket type tomato varieties.
For anyone still looking for that perfect or unique tomato to grow this season, we have begun to restock the collector, heirloom, and basket varieties of tomatoes.
Burpee Steakhouse Hybrid Tomato
For something BIG and new from Burpee, why not try growing the world's "largest beefsteak" tomato! It produces huge, broad shouldered fruits weighing up to 3 lbs - that are both flavourful and wonderfully fragrant. Try growing one and let us know what your crop weighs in at!
