Osteospermums (also known as Cape Daisies or African Daisies) have now become very popular as summer bedding plants, either to put in the border or in pots.
They have single daisy-like flowers and are great for cutting. Use in rock gardens or mass plantings.
Osteospermums require full sun for the flowers to fully open, although while half-closed, it is possible to appreciate the different colours on the underneath of the petals.
Water regularly to avoid the plants from drying out. Keep well watered, especially the first two weeks after planting!
